When you start to see happiness as a goal like any other, you will realize it cannot be achieved passively.
Could the key to happiness be as simple as simultaneously remembering that you are both amazing and insignificant in the grand scheme of things? I wonder.
Many people struggle with inner peace and security, and to that I say I’m sorry, and hope you can find what you need to feel safe within yourself. I would never begrudge someone their own personal stuggles, journeys, or demons. But please, please, please. Stop taking it out on others. It’s called a personal struggle for a reason. Do your best to leave everyone else out of it.
Pay careful attention to what really matters, giving consideration also to what does not. Then it will become easier to devote your time and energy to fruitful pursuits.
There may be no more crippling feeling than that of being trapped. That is, until one finds the key to unlocking the tightening shackles of one’s own choices, beliefs, values and expectations.
Never underestimate the power of a warm and genuine smile.
When it comes to you, you don’t owe anyone a piece of yourself. It’s up to you whether you choose to share.
- Be grateful. It’s far too easy to see negativity at every turn.
Assume best intentions. It just feels better.
It’s tough to stay strong in your convictions. Doesn’t mean it isn’t worthwhile.
